This three minute video introduces teachers to the One Place, Many Stories website. One Place, Many Stories is a free online resource designed for the middle to upper primary years as a way of engaging students in the history of Victoria, Australia and beyond. It is a rich, cross curricular resource, which can be used in a variety of learning contexts. This resource enables the layering of historical maps and plans over Google Maps and allows students to pin their own stories, images and research to the maps.

Ideas for using this resource

One Place, Many Stories can be incorporated into a range of themes related to the AusVELS curriculum.
