This resource kit is a guide for schools implementing the whole-school approach to Respectful Relationships, an initiative that supports schools to promote and model respect and gender equality – and teach students how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.
The Respectful Relationships initiative is supporting hundreds of Victorian schools to take a whole-school approach to Respectful Relationships. Schools are looking at their culture, practices and policies to build an enhanced culture of respect and gender equality across the school community.

The Respectful Relationships: A Resource Kit for Victorian Schools provides Leading and Partner schools with the strategies and tools to implement a whole-school approach to Respectful Relationships.
Taking a whole-school approach is about embedding a culture of respect and gender equality across the entire school community. This approach leads to positive impacts on students’ mental health, classroom behaviour, and relationships between teachers and students.
