Developing STEM skills

Explore this resource package that includes activities to develop children’s skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Children are active learners exploring the world through touch, sight, sound, taste, smell and movement.  With encouragement and guidance, through STEM experiences children can develop complex understandings about the world around them.  As they engage in play, children develop STEM skills in many ways including by investigating, imagining, exploring ideas, making predictions, building and constructing and contributing to mathematical discussions.
