Effective differentiated teaching is based upon understanding student learning readiness, learning progress, and knowledge of individual student learning profiles, to make evidence based adjustments for individuals so all students experience challenge, success and improved learning. Students in the remote and flexible setting may present as different learners to the onsite classroom learner and therefore it is important to be attentive to student engagement and learning through considered differentiated teaching.
