CORE PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM

Welcome to the core professional learning program of the Victorian Professional Learning Communities (PLC) initiative.

The program is built on reliable knowledge of how to create a schoolwide culture of collective responsibility and efficacy, continuous improvement and high expectations for all students.

Delivered in regions, the PLC core professional learning program offers two concurrent streams for:

  • School leaders (principal and assistant principals), comprising four modules of offsite training over four days
  • PLC instructional leaders (teacher team leaders), comprising five modules of offsite training over five days, and three modules of school-based activities over three days.

On this page you can find the participant workbook, as well as links to the presentation, readings, videos and activities for each offsite module.

If you are a Victorian government school not already participating and would like to get involved, see: Learn about the Victorian PLC initiative.
